New house with fantastic ocean view

The holiday home is newly built house, finished only in 2009, situated in a quiet location in the middle of an olive grove with a fantastic sea view. It is located in Chasapeika, which is 4 km from the beach in Xiropigado, on the Pelopennese. At present, its sole source of electricity is solar power. Large batteries filled by means of panels on the roof supply electricity. Separate solar panels also located on the roof provide warm water.

Under the hot weather, air conditioning provides cooling and fresh air in the living room and bedroom. If it happens in summer time that water is cut off for the settlement, the house can use  its own water supply  coming out of  the water tank. This also provides steady water supply for shower and toilets. In winter time, the soapstone oven with olive-woods can heat the house. It brings a special warm and a cozy feeling.

The House consists of a large living room with dining area and open kitchen. The House has 2 bedrooms with each a double bed, a bathroom with shower, toilet and bath, and a toilet.

Please note that a car is essential in order to reach the house, as it is situated up on the mountain, as well as reach the nearest shops and taverns in Xirapigado from the house.

The nearest bank (cash point) and internet café are located in Astros which is 7 km from Xiropigado.

While the house is not specially adapted or certified for handicapped or elderly guests, all rooms as well as the patio are on one level with no stairs or difficult thresholds to manage and all doors are wide enough for a walking aid to fit through. While the road leading to the house is fairly steep, the path to the front door is straight and on one level. I therefore believe, that the house is suitable for handicapped guests as well. I am, of course, happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have in this regard.
